The Amiga verison of Colonization improved on Civilization for the Amiga in so many ways. I really love the Amiga version, and I hate having to compare it to the Windows version. The graphics are more colorful and the resolution is higher. However, I think the Windows Colonization is better than the Amiga version. It's been a *long* time since I've played it on the Amiga, but that's my memory from the time. The graphics and gameplay are very similar but the GUI on the Amiga works a lot better. Survive and colonize Mars in a highly technical, open-world sandbox game. My feeling is that the Amiga version of Colonization looks better than the PC DOS version of the game. Unlike the Amiga version of Civilization, which was just slightly better than the DOS version at that time, the Amiga Colonization was took much better advantage of the Amiga's abilities. The Amiga version of Colonization was the last game I bought for my Amiga back in.1995.I'd guess. There are more downloads coming after the holidays and if you play Civ2 look for the new CivChristmas Mod that I have coming in a day or two.I would have released it today but I am still hammering out some of the sounds.
